Thanksgiving day...curse!

November 23 - 29

Day 49: We had a lesson with a former investigator, the first thing he said to us when we walked up his driveway was "how do I become a member of your church? And what do I need to do to get baptized?! What the what? Insane!!! We taught the Book of Mormon and he said if he knew it was true he'd get baptized! YAY! We had a member lesson and the members were amazing.  For dinner a lady in our ward took us to a place called Sylvester's. Basically it was just like Johnny Rockets in Station Park.

Day 50:  Halfway through studies we had carpet cleaners show up so we had to leave so they could do their job.  We then did service for an investigator and our next project with her will be her garage, #mess. We had dinner at a members and helped them set up for thanksgiving! We had a lesson and our investigator told us she believes in Past Life Progression...so that was awkward. Well folks, the Thanksgiving curse is alive and well.  I finally caught Sister Dye's cold!

Day 51: HAPPY TURKEY DAY! πŸ¦ƒπŸ˜‹
Luckily we had weekly planning. After we hit dinner #1 at the Bishops house. Then dinner #2 at one members house. Then Dinner #3 which was our main Dinner. It was so good! Then dinner #4, well basically we were there for dessert. (We got way spoiled) Then we had to go in cuz president didn't want any missionaries to bug people while proselytizing.

Day 52: BLACK FRIDAY! Idk why I put that...Anyway #LIGHTtheWORLD started today for us! (Hope you watched the video on mormon.org!!!πŸ˜ƒ) At district meeting guess who had to give another talk...me!! It was on charity & serving others, so I used #LIGHTtheWORLD (Can you tell I love it?!πŸ’–) We helped an investigator set up Christmas decorations today!! YAY!

Day 53 & 54: Not much happened at all, but I did decide to re-read the Book of Mormon from page 1.  It is so cool how you can read the book like 500 times but get a new meaning every time! One thing I liked in 1 Nephi 1:1 Nephi knows that even though he's been through and seen many afflictions in his life he still sees he has been blessed by the Lord.  (Nevertheless, I have been highly favored of the Lord.)  Like Nephi, we all have trials AND we are highly favored of the Lord! No matter what, he is always there for us! Another was in Chapter 7.  When Laman and Lemuel had put chords on Nephi and "sought his life" Nephi said a prayer in verse 17 "Oh Lord, according to my faith which is in thee, wilt thou deliver me from the hands of my brothern, yeah even give me strength that I must burst these bands with which I am bound."  Notice how he didn't ask for his trials  to magically go away, BUT he prayed for strength to go through his trial.  How cool! We need to be like Nephi & pray for strength rather than for it to go away.

Day 55: P-DAY! Today was normal P-day. We shopped, then I cut more elders hair, emailed, lunched, then played basketball cuz thats what the elders want to do! HAHA!

Love you all , and Thanks for the support!

#LIGHTtheWORLD

November 16 - 22

Day 42: What a long day?! We did most our studies in our apartment, but had to do the last hour in the car as we drove 2.5-3 hours to oxnard for our follow-up training. We hit TONS of traffic/construction and basically listened to 6 CD's hahahπŸ˜„ Then we got there and had a 3 hour training.  It was a struggle cuz my belly wasn't too happy with me.πŸ™ Afterwards we had cake, or everyone else did...sugar doesn't sound good anymore. Which is good cuz I'm trying to lose weight.  But on our way home we stopped at Wendy's since we hadn't eaten since 7 am (it was 4:30) so we got that and hit the road.  We had an appointment at 7 and we got there right at 7.  The lady was yelling at her kids and never answered the door. So we got back in the car and called and left a voicemail saying we'd be back in a few minutes.  About 2 minutes later, we watched her run to her truck and drive away.  Talk about awkward! We ducked as she passed our car.

Day 43: Today was another crazy day! We did service and made tortillas.  Which was was fun! We went to a lesson and she wasn't home so that was odd. Then we went to a less actives. She talked to us the whole time about politics, even when we tried to change the subject the whole time. We said "even though sometimes we don't agree with our circumstances, everything gotta happen for a reason." Half was through it she said "don't you dare finish that sentence!" #woahthere... When we asked her what we could do to help her she said "take back your vote if you voted for Trump!" So yeah, super awkward! We just left...Then our 3:00 cancelled so we went to the church so Sister Dye could practice piano for our zone conference tomorrow. Then dinner and back home to finish studies!

Day 44: #LIGHTtheWORLD
Today was our Christmas initiative called #LIGHTtheWORLD.  Its a video about how we can serve like Christ did.  It shares 2 scriptures "I am the light of the world" Christ is speaking.  Then "Ye are the light of the world" basically saying that we have that same power to serve as he did.  It also has a link to 25 WAYS IN 25 DAYS. Mormon.org is doing/giving 25+ ways/ideas of service for 25 days (starting Dec1) It's beautiful! Then we went to dinner and it was so good! Like, best dinner yet πŸ’—

https://www.mormon.org/?cid=HP_FR_25-11-2016_dMIS_fmorg_xLIDyL1-A_

Day 45: Today went back to normal missionary life.  We had district meeting and our zone leaders were randomly there.  How come that sort of thing only happens when I have to speak/share the talk? Then we took a nap for lunch←best kind of lunches!! We then did service for an investigator. We're still getting her house together for Thanksgiving. For dinner we had enchiladas ←everyone here makes mexican food! We had a lesson with a less active and read Mosiah 13 cuz she wanted to talk about the 10 commandments.  We had our Friday sports night and played a killer game of volleyball which was way fun.  But afterwards the Elders that we workout with told us we weren't allowed to all workout together anymore. So that part wasn't fun. πŸ™

Day 46: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANDMA PETTIT! πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’– Today was our 1 day this week we had like 0 appointments!😦 well 2 at night so we spent all day finding.  We saw 1 potential who let us in and asked us about our temples, so we got to talk about temples. πŸ’• She also asked us if we were called sisters cuz we were gonna be nuns... so that was only slightly awkward. We had a lesson with a less active and talked about the power of the Book of Mormon. Then we had another lesson with a less active and read a conference talk with her.

Day 47: Todays Sunday which means Pday eve!!! We obviously went to church today and I had to speak (BOO!) Then we came home for studies.  We went out to visit people but no one let us in or would talk to us cuz it was raining. ☔ We then had dinner with an investigator and taught her the restoration.  Then we had dinner 2.0 at our recent converts house. We taught her about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Oh! and she going to do baptisms for the dead this week! YAY!!

Day 48: Pday πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆ We emailed home, then I cut 4 elders hair!😁 but they turned out way good! So that was a relief! Then we had zone sports and played volleyball, soccer and basketball . An elder decided he wanted to steal the soccer ball from me and kicked the ball pretty hard into my ankle and its pretty bruised #battlescars. But its all good cuz he still didn't get the ball...thanks for my soccer skills dad!⚽ 😍 Then we had dinner with our bishop and it was yummy pizza.πŸ•πŸ’•

Love you all, thanks for the support!

November 7 - 14

Day 34: Pday: Basically after emailing we went on a hike with our district.  One thing I learned on my mission is: ELDERS are awkward! Any who, after that, a member took us out to eat at a hard core fancy restaurant, it was so good!!! Then we had a lesson with an 11 year old and her two sisters that are 8 & 6.  We did a FHE lesson on choice and consequences.

Day 35: We had to take our car in the shop for a repair estimate.  They told us we would be out a car for 2 weeks/ #nothappening! We then walked to find people to teach.  EVERYONE was mad at us for trying to come on a "day like today" AKA election day.  We then taught a less active who told us the whole time how much she hated Trump, so that was awkward...she also told us about why she didn't come to church.  Then we met with another less active member and taught about the 2nd coming. Oh and at lunch we took a nap...it was nice!

Day 36: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! Today was a wee bit outta the ordinary.  We had a Relief Society meeting that took FOREVER! Their making us do a majority of their work cuz we have a lot of time on our hands....? K, cool...we had an appointment at night and when we got there they were asleep...#awkward. We really had to pee, so we went to a less actives around the corner to use her restroom.  She's never home and never lets us in, but she did! Her 8year old yelled "Mom can the sister missionaries share a message?!" She agreed and we taught on prophets. #thanksbladder

Day 37: A man from Santa Barbara came and looked at our car again and we got told we were driving a truck for a day! Yay! We did service for an investigator and helped put her house together after a flood happened.  We then visited another investigator and laugh on temples and marriage. Then dinner and a lesson with our recent convert! Her husband made us dinner, he's an amazing cook! It was so cute, they set up a table outside on the deck for us and we ate under the stars. Then they gave us really expensive fudge to take home! πŸ’—

Day 38: We got our truck! On our way home we got a call from the YSA sisters and they needed a ride somewhere so we turned around and drove them around.  We got panda express for lunch →yum.  We worked for about an hour and then had dinner.  We had a lesson with a less active and she told us her brother's living with her but we're 99% sure he's her husband, so...awkward. We talked about Elder Ballard's talk this conference. (It's amazing! go read it! 10/10 would recommend to a friend) Then sports night. We played volleyball and it was awesome.

Day 39: Our elders randomly made us waffles for breakfast. So that was a good way to start! We had a rough day finding people, so we waved at every car and counted our waves to see how many we could receive. cheesy but fun. During lunch we decorated our planners, so that was fun.  During dinner we actually did the work the RS asked us to do so that was good. We had another less active lesson with Chad and told him he has to keep the word of wisdom for 6 months before he can baptize his son.

Day 40: Not much this Sunday, Just church and studies. πŸ˜„ Oh, but we had Pday eve! We slept in the living room and watch "The Testaments"!

Day 41: Pday! We went to San Luis Obisbo, #part and had a lesson with the 11 year old and her sisters on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Love you all!

One Month Down!

November 1 - 6

Day 28: Today was...a day. (very interesting) We got cancelled on like 3 times...BOO! We almost got to do service. We were going to help a man in the yard but then a lady came out and told us No. dang... So close! We came back to our place for lunch. We had...Grilled Cheese!! Then we continued to work and get shut down.  #awesome.  We had a lesson on the Restoration, then dinner, then knocking again.  This man told us he admired what we do, then told us our message would be more powerful if we taught people that we are children of God...and when we come to realize that ourselves we'll be unstoppable...I don't think he knows what mormons believe and what we teach! HA! We do teach that concept, every lesson! Silly man.  Then we went to an elderly mans house. He told us he already had a man from our church calling on him & someone drives him over for meetings (What?!) He then said "Thanks for calling" and slammed the door. Oh & when we asked who the man was from our church, he said it's confidential & he can't say...??? #sketch.  Pretty sure he thought we were JW #so close.  No cats taught today:(

Day 29: Honestly nothing today.  Except we taught a progressing investigator(s) about temples and eternal marriage.

Day 30: Again, nothing today #boring. We taught a new investigator & she doesn't believe in prophets, but wants to know more about Joseph Smith...so that's strange. At dinner the member told me 5 times to eat more salad...Even though I ate a huge bowl of salad.

Day 31: Basically not much happened this week...so thats fun. But we went to a referral and he finally answered the door. But, he told us "nows not a good time, don't ever come back!" We didn't even get to say hello. :( We went to Pismo for my 1st exchange! I got to be companions w/Sister Campbell.  She did drill in high school, and knows the dance instructor I worked for! SMALL WORLD!

Day 32: ONE MONTH DOWN! We street contacted and ran into a JW, there's tons in Cali.  We had a leadership training & got delayed for an hour. So thats fun. We went to in-and-out for my 1 month then exchanged back. I missed my Comp!

Day 33: Sunday fun day. We had a less active come back to church for all 3 hours! When he comes he usually only stays for the first hour.  We had dinner with the K's & played dominos the whole time. #party

Oct 25-Oct 31

Day 20 - We made it to Cali and had food made with love, unlike MTC food.

Day 21 - We went to this place in Ventura with a cross statue, stood on a ledge, and jumped and said "I commit" to being a missionary....fun stuff.  Met my new companion, Sister Dyer she's the bomb!
I lucked out! We get along so well! We're in Atascadero, a small town in Cali that looks the exact opposite of how Cali should look.  Nights are sketchy, but I love it! The members are the best! But still I love my home ward #quailcrossing.  Oh, and its pretty cold at night! We went to A's, she is getting baptized on Saturday, love her already!

Day 22 - We worked out with the Elders...They're strange... Then we went and did service for a women who's a potential investigator, she has the coolest yard. She sculpts everything she decorates with.  I'll take pics next time.  We went shopping, then to the relief society,  they taught how to make rolls.  (my moms are still the best)

Day 23 - This is a new strange life, but I can't get enough of it! (probably good cuz #17moremonthsleft) IT POURED TODAY! We got soaked, so we dried our shirts with a car heater.  It was like 58* Which wasn't bad for Utah weather, but not Cali.  We ran into someone who we have higher hopes for.  He could be my first real investigator! We got 7-11 hot chocolate today cuz #1 it rained, #2 Sister Dye's 9 months.

Day 24 Not much today, got a few door slam but thats the life.  (sometimes agency sucks) We taught an investigator.  He's read the bible, B of M, D & C, Pearl of Great Price, our search for happiness, and is now reading Jesus the Christ,  Phew, Thanks a lot!

Day 25 - Our investigator got baptized! Yes I am aware I'm only on week 1.  Her non-member parents and husband both came! WIN! We saw a less active member and she was glad to see us.  The we ran into JW and we talked to him about the plan of Salvation. Then we had a ward Trunk-or-Treat and we all switched name tags for our costumes.  Also a non-member and investigator came, YAY!

Day 26 - We had church & 2 dinners! Yes our ward rocks.  We taught 2 lessons, 1 on the plan and one on CPR Church, Pray, Read.

Day 27 - Halloween.  Happy Halloween! today was also P-day.  We woke up and did laundry, worked out, cleaned the apartment, studied and cleaned the car all before 10 am.  New record! We went to the store and bought a flash drive to store mormon messages, pics and whatever else.  Exciting, I know.
We only get 1 hour to email so it was tough to reply to everyone. We then played basketball with the Elders.  I schooled them.  Then at 3 we had to work (cuz p-day ended early because of halloween) We knocked doors. #party at 6:00 we had dinner and played dominos.  Then we had to be back by 7:00 because of halloween.  We put candy out because we can't open our door, and because we don't want junk food.  OH and no one would talk to us today (BOO) and a cat followed us around for 45 minutes ...so I knelt on the grass and taught the cat about Jesus Christ & his gospel, book of mormon.  Funny thing...he sat down and paid attention! He kept putting his paw on the pic of Jesus! This cat is the ideal investigator.

Love you and miss you all!

-We also had a trunk or treat, we dressed up as each other..... kinda.... we just switched name tags haha.

-It rained....like almost everyday this week(am i even in Cali?!) and we got soaking wet so we used the car heater to dry our clothes in-between areas....
*Just so you know her parents sent her with rain boots which she sent home when she needed to lighten her suitcase for the airplane ride.

She made it to Cali!

Just got the email that she made it!  After one cancelled flight, a 4 hour delayed flight and thinking they were going to miss their connection they made it.

Since we were out of town last Friday I was unable to add her pictures to the blog, so here they are.  Plus she sent us some while hanging out at the airport so they are on here too.

Now go give them heaven

Day 10 continued- well we stayed and emailed for like 2 hours and missed gym time... oops. oh well it was optional haha. Pizza was for dinner again. apparently theirs pizza every friday! yum. then we had class. everyone was so tired and no one could focus on anything. our poor teachers....

day 11- today we got up and went to the gym. then breakfast. dont worry people... I FOUND THE BAGEL LINE!!! then class. we learned to teach lesson 3... the Gospel of Jesus Christ. this is so far my favorite lesson because it talks about how much of an example Jesus was and how we can follow him: 1- First we can have faith in him. 2- then we can repent. 3- after we repent we can be Baptized. 4- we can receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 5- last, we can endure to the end. i LOVE IT! then lunch and more class on the same topic. dinner was good and then, you guessed it, class again. we did a lot of role playing, which is such good practice!

day 12- today was sunday! wahoo! we made it to another sunday! its crazy to think that i only have one week left at the mtc! we had a branch meeting today and now....... wait for it ...... wait for it.... IM A BRANCH SISTER TRAINING LEADER!!! wahoooooo! then relief society was on priesthood blessings. then sacrament. i had to lead the music so that was fun. #stagefright. then the district meeting. sister sorensen and sister stevenson taught the lesson on obedience. it was amazing. brother and sister jackson (from the branch presidency) got relocated. brother jackson came to us 4 sisters to say goodbye and told us how much he loved us and how amazing we will  be. he then said. in tears. "Now go give them Heaven" what an amazing phrase. i love it! we had another temple walk today which was fun. then took the new sisters to dress and grooming. then dinner. they had peaches again!!! YUMMY. then choir, we sang Be Still My Soul. ugh i love music! we  had a devotional by Vai Sikanema, which was amazing. then for films we watched Dallin H Oaks. again. amazing

Day 13- today we had personal study first. which was awesome. i never thought i would enjoy this part of the day. i read out of Our Search For Happiness by M Russel Ballard. what an amazing read. wow.... never said that before.... like ever. then breakfast.we had bagels. yum. we then worked out which is always a good time. while working out a sister walked into the mens bathroom ..... twice. so that was strange. then we were walking to our rooms, there was a fire drill. always a party. we got dressed and then went to our first appointment with Patricia. She has so many questions and for some reason, we knew all the answers. didnt have to think, we just knew. i just love it when the spirit takes over. i know it wasnt me talking, it was him! then class. we learned about the commandments. then lunch. yes. i went to the potato bar, and yes, it was yummy. then class again. it was on why we go to church. then TRC number two for today. we taught a girl named olivia. she was adorable. then we had study time and we talked to the elders the whole time. i found out that Elder Daines trusts me the most out of everyone, i remind Elder Whitehead of his twin sister. all the elders thing im the most comfortable to be around and they feel like they can tell me anything. so that was a confidence boost! then dinner. and one more section of class.

day 14- today we had our second trc lesson with patricia. she again had so many questions. i can tell her testimony is growing so strong. then class. we learned how important inspired questions are in lessons. then lunch. i dont remember what we had. so that was fun. then class again, we just role played the whole time on inspired questions. it was hard cuz... arent inspired questions supposed to be.... you know.... inspired? to fit whats going on with your investigators? oh well. then we taught olivia. it went pretty good. we taught her about the book of mormon and repentance. then i went to the doctor to see whats wrong with my stomach and had to get blood work done. hate needles but i was a big girl and stuck it out. then choir and a devotional. we told our elders that it was Holland speaking. but it really was a 70... hahaha oops. it was on the characteristics of christ. then we went back to our room and talked about the devo. and i cried. its fine. then sister may came to our room and told us about her mission in germany and how she had to pee in a hole on the train. it was hilarious.

day 15- today the only thing that was super exciting was the fact that we got to welcome the new bees to the MTC! since me and sister christiansen are the new sister training leaders for the branch we got to help the branch leaders with welcoming them with an orientation. i felt super old and important looking at all the fresh meat. we then took them on a tour around the campus and sent them off to bed. good luck little ones. good luck....

day 16- again nothing too exciting today. we had in field orientation since we leave on monday. it went ALL DAY LONG and oh my ....... it was sooooooo boring! glad i dont have to ever do that again! then we had dinner (like i said.... it was all day long) and THEN HAD CLASS. oh it was awful. one of the longest days ever, and not in a good way. hahahaha

day 17- woke up, ate a bagel, and off to the temple! after the temple, we came back and basically started packing everything up. then we did our laundry and emailed a little bit. then we went back into the room to pack some more, but then that turned into showering and taking a 2 hour nap...... i miss naps.... now back to emailing so i could finish my weekly email and then dinner and class!!!

no super funny stories today folks.... so sorry. but im glad to hear that so many of you loved my last one about 3 Nephi. hahahahahaha oh that one still gets me.

day 3......continued- after i finished emailing we went to the gym to play volleyball but the elders were using the court so we couldnt. so instead, we went and used the gym equipment. now all the sisters are motivated to go everyday to lose any pre-mission weight. so... im way pumped to get back in shape. sister needs a 6-pack! we then went to dinner and it was papa johns pizza! now that food i can eat! next was class. we learned how to ask investigators to commit to baptism. ahhhhhhhh ! were already learning how to missionary! then we taught hannah again and this time we stayed to our planned lesson and taught her about prayer and repentance. we read 3 nephi 9:14 and mosiah 36:29. let me tell you. missionary work is some HARD STUFF. but boy do i love it 12x more than i expected to!

day 4- today we went to the gym for an hour and then ate breakfast. nothing new and exciting there. we then had our meeting for TRC so that was cool to learn about how we will have investigators in the MTC. today in class was a lot more of a struggle than its been so far. while we were preparing for a lesson to teach hannah for our last time, nothing was flowing or clicking and i had my first mental breakdown here at the MTC. it so happens that my companion was having the same problem we we both had breakdowns. it really tested my faith and why im here. just gotta remember God wants/needs me here. so this is where ill be. we taught hannah and it went pretty well considering said breakdown before. then lunch and we went outside to read the scriptures for class. then dinner. yum. actually it really wasnt all that good. i cant wait to cook my own food in cali. we had class again and learned how to teach the first lesson in 3 minutes.... it was challenging and frustrating and then down to 1 minute. even worse. and then the most challenging ...... :30 second.s so today was filled with breakdowns and stress and frustration. but in all fairness, you cant win them all.

day 5- today was sunday. everyone is always saying "make it to sunday!" so all is well, i made it to sunday. it was also fast sunday but in all honesty... i totally forgot about food today so it wasnt bad! we had tons of meetings like sacrement, Relief society, district meeting, devotional, films on conference talks, oh and SURPRISE i joined choir. well our whole district did THERE WERE SO MANY MISSIONARIES THERE! but if you go to choir of fast sundays, you get to get dinner 2 hours earlier.... so pretty sure half the elders wont be there next week! today felt so long and never ending but i seriously love being a missionary with all its ups and downs!

day 6- today was sooooo long. we woke up and went to the gym. ps thats my stress reliever x12. after that we had our first lesson in TRC. it went GREAT! her name was barbara and we taught her on the restoration of the church. i love teaching about that! i never knew i would love teaching any of this. ive always been afraid to voice my opinion on anything church related. i dont think ive prayed this much. like ever. but wow prayer really is so special and important.  we then had a lesson then lunch. i had a few bites of my food and then felt super sick to my stomach. so i have enjoyed fruit for my past few meals! but im not complaining. our second TRC appointment went well as well! again we taught on the restoration. dinner was dinner. well actually it was taco bell. then class.

day 7- today was basic MTC life. we taught our investigator barbara and she prayed for us!!! it was so amazing. then with paula we taught her about the importance of the book of mormon. she told us that this was exactly what shes been looking for in her life. we then had a tuesday night devotional and ELDER BEDNAR CAME TO SPEAK! we sang in the choir during the devotional a song called Precious Savior. ahhhhhh it was so pretty. and i balled. (apparently being a missionary has broke me and now im an emotional person). the devotional was amazing and he taught us how to better understand conference. i learned soooooo much from that man. hes such an inspirational person. i love when he states at the end of he talks "i witness" while bearing his testimony! CHILLS! afterwords we shared our thoughts on the talk.

day 8- IVE BEEN OUT A WEEK!? its flown yet crawled by. they werent kidding when they say days feel like weeks and weeks feel like days. strange. today we learned how to teach the plan of salvation. its amazing how every lesson revolves and centers around christ. i love it! i feel like i forgot what happened today..... oh! Barbara  knows the book of mormon is true and committed to reading it everyday and praying to feel gods love. paula also knows its true and shes committed to keeping the word of wisdom. oh and she also committed to BAPTISM! oh how i love her! you really do feel the saviors love for all of your investigators!

day 9- today we went and worked out and ate. while going back to our room we sang songs from wicked so that was way fun and i LOVED IT! then when we tried to open our door NONE of our keys would work! we were locked out for 10 minutes at least. stressful i know. k the story gets better. we tried again and again and nothing. we all said a prayer. and tried one more time AND IT WORKED!!!!! (little miracles people) after we went in we tried it again to see if it was just jammed and it didnt work..... god is good! and he answers your prayers!!! nothing exciting happened today but at the end of the day we were all slap happy cuz we are all so tired! i found a way cool scripture in D&C. its D&C 19:15-20

day 10- THATS TODAY! we went to the temple again and did endowments. I LOVE THE TEMPLE!!!! i wish i could be there 24/7. after that we did our laundry and now we are emailing! whoot whoot! after this i bet youll never guess where we're going.... THATS RIGHT! THE GYM! yay!

in case yall are confused about page 33..... in the missionary handbook or "white bible" page 33 talks about elders and sisters arent aloud to be alone together or flirt. long story short our district always makes jokes about page 33.

oh and i have a super funny story that i you will ALL laugh about!!! kkkkkkkkk here goes......
one of the investigators was getting ready to be baptized but he still wasnt sure if he was ready. the missionaries told him to read 1 Nephi 3:7. BUT INSTEAD TOLD HIM TO LOOK UP 3 NEPHI 3:7-8!!! (seriously..... look them both up and you will know how funny this story is... im about to fall out of my chair laughing while typing this.) he read it after the missionaries left and got super confused. hahaha but dont worry. this story has a happy ending. after the missionaries fixed their mistake, he agreed to be baptized!
im telling you people. this is hilarious! hahhaha
