March 6-12

Day 154: Today we did four hours of service at Catholic Charities. Basically we boxed/sorted food for families in need. It felt amazing! We went with a set of elders from our district. Then comp study, but halfway through it we got a call/service opportunity. We are now helping a man from Mexico learn english, here's the only catch... he knows 🚫 english and we know 🚫 Spanish. Good thing the gift of tongues is real!! J/K A member is translating for us. Then institute, we saw the Stake President and he welcomed me into the ward...Awkward...He doesn't even remember me. THE ONE WHO FELL IN HIS POOL! lol

Day 155: Today we got a call from a member saying she had fallen. (she uses a walker) So we went over and helped her and got her food and stuff. Then we ran into a few football players at Moorpark. One was saying he was debating between UTAH and BYU, don't worry, I strongly suggested the U. #GOUTES

Day 156: Basically we did weekly planning. Not much more exciting happened.

Day 157: Today 2 awesome things occurred:
#1 I had Chipotle for the 1st time! (Costa's better)
#2 I held a chameleon! AHHH!

Day 158: We met a new investigator!!! He's a stunt double for Hollywood, he was in Lady Gaga's last music video. He's the driver/motorcyclist.

Day 159: #1 I forgot my name tag and had 0 time to go back home and get it so I wore one of Sister Hopkins. Oh...and...something awesome happened....

Feb 21 - Mar 5

Day 140: Okay so Sister Houseman is @ her last 7 weeks so she started Myplan today (basically once a week you do goal setting for after your mission!) So since I have to be with her, I got to do Mormon.org time and look at talks. #funstuff We found a potential at Moorpark College today! He has purple, blue, and green hair! thats so cool! 💜💙💚

Day 141: We met a LA named Andy! He's super solid and wants to come back to church! Then we had institute, pretty fun stuff.

Day 142: We had 2 miracles today. We got an amazing potential today. She's miracle #1. She has tons of questions and wants to meet with us soon. Then we got 2 referrals, so thats miracle #2. Also it's Sister Houseman's 17 month mark so naturally we got ice cream to celebrate!

Day 143: The only big thing that happened today was we had Tai food for dinner...then the member awkwardly made us pay for it. LOL. it happens?

day 144: TRANSFER CALLS! Well, I'm staying and my new comp is Sis. Hopkins. Sis Houseman is going to Morro Bay with Sister Adamson for her last transfer. We had a lesson with our new investigator. He's Jewish and doesn't believe Jesus is...well the Son of God. (Gotta start somewhere!)

Day 145: Sunday! Basically we said goodbye to everyone for Sis. Houseman and then came and packed her up.

Day 146: Here's today - drove EVERYWHERE to get Sister Houseman's passport renewed. Came home and had pizza for dinner. Went to Bro. Neff's (yes as in like Neff clothing) and got a free beenie and did shoutouts. Went to FHE and met a former investigator. Stayed up late and talked for our last night together.

Day 147: Bye Sis. Houseman, Hello Sis. Hopkins! She's amazing! We get along so well, she's been out 13 months. We got her unpacked today and went to institute.

Day 148: So basically we both don't know where we're going so we got lost basically all day long! But we found out we get to go to the temple this transfer because Sis Hopkins didn't get to go for her birthday, YAY!

Day 149: We met a potential today and are hoping to teach him soon. He's super interested in learning! YAY! We taught a recent convert about enduring to the end.

Day 150: Our 1st district meeting for the transfer. We talked about the Book of Mormon. Then had district lunch. During lunch we told everyone our "Real Name" When I said mine they said it sounded like Kanye. I mean close? Anyway they thought that was cool! We met one of the referrals, he was...strange. He told us everyone was already perfect so we don't need the Atonement and the gates of heaven are located in his brain and he's existed since Adam and Eve, like his body and such. Idk man idk.

Day 151: Basically we took most of the day mapping out our area and getting all our people organized.

Day 152: Sunday! Yay church! We taught Rachel a new member lesson. 😍
